UEFA Champions League

Liverpool has qualified for the Champions League final four.

Despite Benfica scored three times, Liverpool showed their depth in the Champions League semi-final, with Ibrahima Konate and a Roberto Firmino double making it a pretty comfortable night at Anfield.

After a 3-3 draw with Benfica, Liverpool qualified for the Champions League last four and will face Villarreal (6-4 agg).

Jurgen Klopp's team survived a brief threat of a Benfica comeback after Goncalo Ramos netted in the first half. Ibrahima Konate and a Roberto Firmino double did the damage.Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson, and Mohamed Salah were all rested from the start in a rotated team from the 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday, but overall this was a typical evening for Klopp's side.

Liverpool had won all 35 UEFA competition ties in which they had won the away first leg, and they had few worries at Anfield, where they had a 3-1 advantage from the first leg.
