Pep Guardiola's comments on Chelsea's recent acquisition of Marc Cucurella continue to elicit a variety of responses from those who have heard them, and not everyone is pleased that Manchester City did not beat Chelsea to the player's signature.
People commented on Just Chelsea's Facebook post on Pep Guardiola's comments, and many of them pointed out that Manchester City should have bought the player instead of Chelsea since he would have been a better backup for Cancelo. Just Chelsea's post was in response to Guardiola's comments.
Others said that because Pep Guardiola never truly loved the player at Man City, Man City could have signed him for any price. As a result, they could have gotten more money for him.
Still another contingent of supporters voiced their delight at the news that Chelsea had beaten Man City to the player's signature.
