Jordan Ayew Provides Two Assists in Black Stars Win Over South Korea

Crystal Palace striker, Jordan Ayew has silenced his critics after displaying quality football in the Black Stars victory against the South Korea.

The son of the legend Abedi Pele provided two assists for Southampton central defender, Salisu Mohammed to score the opener before one for Mohammed Kudus for the second goal.

The Black Stars got their three goals through a brace from Mohammed Kudus and the opener from Salisu Mohammed to give the Black Stars their first win of the tournament.

The Black Stars of Ghana started their World Cup campaign giants Portugal where the team lost 3-2 at the 974 Stadium.

The Black Stars are making their fourth World Cup appearance after their first appearance at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany where the they finished at the round sixteen stage.

The game against South Korea saw goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi put up a splendid performance in post for the Black Stars of Ghana in Qatar.
