Manchester United's young goalkeeper Matthew Kovar has been on loan at Swindon Town for one season.
League One is pleased to announce the signing of the loan, which was be approved by the EFL and FA.
This is a great opportunity for 20 year old to play first-team football. He won several of them when he formed the United Europa League squad for FC Astana in November 2019.Even though he is not yet a senior player for Manchester United,Kovar can prove himself by bringing in the loan magic pyramid of football like Dean Henderson.Hando signed a long-term contract with the club this week for first place with David de Gea next season. A dream for every young goalkeeper.
At the international level,Kovar has represented the Czech Republic at the U-18,U-19 and U-20.We hope this will happen on an interim trip with Swindon.
After signing with The Robins, the young goalkeeper said:First of all,I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome, including at the training ground.Everyone has been good with me since I arrived. The time is right to come here and get some experience in men's football.I am very happy that the club came to me and gave me this opportunity.
Gaffer spoke to me in the pre-match for Manchester United's training game and he's a very positive person. He said he wanted to play football and that's what I wanted.
Good luck for Kovar. It's great to see him succeed this season.
