Head coach of Real Tamale United, Shaibu Tanko is looking forward to drifting away from the danger zone on the league log.

The “Northern Blues” nailed league leaders, Asante Kotoko 2-1 in week 25 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium but still remain 15th with 28 points, two points above relegation. With nine games to draw the season to a close, the former Hearts of Oak coach wants “a forward march” for the premier league returnees.

“Kotoko is not my target, my target is to remain in the league so forward march as I earlier mentioned. “Our forward march will begin from today,” Shaibu Tanko told StarTimes. “We play this way, even away this is how we play except that circumstance beyond our control emerges that is why we are where we are.” Tanko added

Real Tamale United will next play bottom placed, Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Stadium in week 26.
