The Final Group Stage Fixtures of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament tend to be a goodbye to some countries, while others proceed to the next phase of the competition [thus: round of 1/16th].
Ghana, like a few others, stands in between - as to go home or advance further in hope of winning its first World Cup trophy.
With a standard three games each for every participant, the Black Stars after recouping themselves from Portugal's nightmare in the first leg, with a win against South Korea on the same score-line (3-2), now have something to hold onto.
Group competitor Portugal, having secured their place in the round of sixteen (1/16), Ghana is next in line, however, that will come off with a big test against desperate Uruguay, who are yet to win their first game in the competition and share the same chances as well.
Accumulated points of three (3), Otto Addo's side needs a point against Uruguay to qualify - on top of that, a hope of South Korea lose against Portugal or win by 2-1, in that case - edge them by goals.
On the other hand, if 2-0, 3-0 or anything had to do with the Koreans winning with a goal(s) advantage, while Ghana draws will get them knocked out of the competition.
All the same, if Uruguay and South Korea win - goals will settle the difference, but in the case of only Uruguay, both Ghana and Korea goes home.
If there is a win for the Black Stars, they join seated teams like France, Brazil and Portugal, and also if South Korea and Uruguay failed to grab all three points.
