Salifu Ibrahim accepts the hidden fact from his former coach at Medeama SC

Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim has been a secret weapon for the Phobians, no matter how bad the season has gone for him. He started brilliantly from Techiman Eleven Wonders a newly promoted side from Division One.

He was the best player for the team and has the ability to get 5 Man of The Match award. It is an honour to see the Phobians pushing the player to get their results in every match they played.

The player agrees to his former coach Ignatius on how he did not meet the expectations for Hearts of Oak. The 20 years old played an integral role for the Phobians by helping them win a double last season.

Despite his impressive performance for Hearts, the newly appointed coach for Medeama SC Ignatius Osei Fosu said the player was not playing to his abilities.

On a live interview on Wontumi TV, the midfielder agreed that his form has dropped since he joined Hearts. “I agree that my performance at Eleven Wonder is different from Hearts”.

“At Eleven Wonders the style of play was different, we don’t keep the ball in our half for too long but played a lot of long balls. And they are all directed to me. But in Hearts of Oak my role is different and we play a lot of short passes” Salifu Di Maria Ibrahim.
