Ahead of the game, Coach Otto Addo said, the Black Stars will be playing for the win, and believes the boys will rise to the occasion and get the result.

"It will not be revenge against Uruguay on Friday, but, we will do everything possible to get the win and qualify to the next round of the campaign," Otto Addo said.

The Black Stars needs to avoid defeat in this upcoming fixture as they hold a two points advantage over the South American powerhouse after two matches if Group H.

The Uruguayans, drew with South Korea and lost to the Portuguese in the two matches they have played.

Nothing but a win in Friday's encounter, will see them through to the last 16 of the competition.

This, according to Uruguay, is what they will be going for, but Coach Otto Addo said, his charges will be ready for the action on the day.

Portugal will play the Koreans in the other group game with the Asians still in with a chance of booking a place in the next round of the campaign alongside the Portuguese.
