Manchester United are set to break the bank for the signing of Porto’s goalkeeper, Diego Costa as a replacement for David De Gea.
The Portuguese goalkeeper has been highly rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and is the only Goalkeeper to save 3 penalties in the group stages of the Champions league.
Although David De Gea has been World Class for Manchester United, it is believed that Erik Ten Hag is not satisfied with the goalkeeper and could look to the transfer market for other options.
Diego Costa is also good on the ball and his distribution is very remarkable. These are some of the traits that have signalled Manchester United’s interest in signing the player. According to sources close to the club, the player could be signed for an amount close to 60 million pounds.
Despite Manchester United’s interest, other clubs such as Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United have also registered their interest in signing the goalkeeper.
