The Porcupine Warriors and former coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum went their separate ways with several reasons attributed to the exit of the former WAFA coach.
Asante Kotoko have qualified for the 2022/23 CAF Champions League following their annexation of last season’s Ghana Premier League ahead of their arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.
The club is awaiting its next opponent as the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup draw comes up on Tuesday.
Asante Kotoko have also augmented their squad in the past few weeks and will look ahead to the competition.
Kotoko have grabbed Ugandan striker, Stephen Mukwala to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League and 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
The top striker has been expressing his happiness and gratitude to Kumasi Asante Kotoko for roping him in.
"I want to thank the fans of mighty Kotoko for the beautiful reception they gave me," he said.
"I already feel at home in the last few days and I promise to repay their fate in me and promise to win more laurels with the club," he added
