Arguably one of the Greatest players of this generation, Christiano Ronaldo is loved by many. As the most followed footballer on Instagram, Ronaldo brags of a couple of football records to his name. He’s an all round player, but he’s also off the scratch when it comes to Languages.
The Portuguese was born on February 5th, 1985 in Madeira, so obviously he speaks Portuguese as his native language. After becoming professional, he landed a deal with Manchester United and played for them so he picked up English, and honestly he speaks it quite well.
Then in 2009, he stole the show in the transfer market and moved to Real Madrid. Spending nine(9) years with the Madrid club, he added Spanish to his list of languages. And that’s the language he speaks with his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
Right after the 2018 UCL success with Madrid, he jumped the train to play for Italian giants Juventus.Well, he didn’t spend quite a long time over there but obviously he picked up a little bit of Italian so we can add that as well.
Now let’s do the Maths, Portuguese + English + Spanish + Italian= 4 Professional Languages. Fair to say Ronaldo speaks almost the most important languages in the world. Impressive!
