Asante Kotoko Bounce Back to Winning Ways After Defeating Newly Promoted Club, Nsoatreman FC

The Porcupine Warriors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have done it again. The only club that has won 25 Ghana Premier League titles in the country is once again on its way to win another one. They have won their first match in the 2022/2023 BetPawa Premier League.

Kotoko were not able to win their first game in the 2022/2023 BetPawa Premier league. Asante Kotoko played 1-1 draw with their fierce rivals, Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

It was a very disappointing game for the Porcupine Warriors. But just this afternoon they recorded their first win in this year's league. They hosted newly promoted club, Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and defeated them in a 2-1 score.

Kotoko's player, Stephen Amankona scored a brace on the 15th and 47th minute to give them their first win. Philip Ofori of Nsoatreman scored the only goal for his club.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have indeed bounced back to winning ways and this can help them compete for the 2022/2023 BetPawa Premier League.
