Pep Guardiola’s Dream To Win Second Champions League Title against Chelsea

Pep Guardiola dream to win the UEFA Champions League Title for the second time but Kai Havertz goal shatter the dream of Pep Guardiola. Chelsea won the UEFA Champions League for the second time yesterday night, beating Manchester City 1:0. Kai Havertz had the only goal for Chelsea.

Pep dream of lifting the trophy for the third time was shattered. Chelsea Players ran to celebrate the goal with Kai Havertz. Chelsea held on for the victory in the second half after city lost Kevin De Bruyne to injury.

Manchester City now need to break down Chelsea defense that has been exceptional under their head coach. But they lost De Bruyne just before the hour mark. He came out in tears, Pep instead turned to Sergio Aguero for the latter stages but there was to be glorious send off as a City player, as a shot from Mahrez sailed just over in the sixth minute of injury time.

His last European cup triumph,there was to be no third for Pep. He remains one adrift of the record for the coaches with most wins in the competition.
