Ghana's technical advisor and former Newcastle boss Chris Hughton has call on Nigerians to support the Black Stars of Ghana at the 2022 world cup competition at Qatar despite losing to their West African rivals.
The four-time African champions booked their place at the 2022 world cup following a 1-1 draw against the super eagles of Nigeria at Mashood Abiola stadium in March.
Chris Houston was present at the football writers association awards on Thursday night and he highlighted the need for Nigerians to support the Black Stars of Ghana when he met Nigerian-Lebanese journalist Mimi Fawaz.
Meanwhile the Black Stars of Ghana are in group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
The Black Stars of Ghana are participating in a four Nations tournament with Chile, Japan and Tunisia which will help them in the preparation toward the world cup tournament in Qatar.
