The 2022/2021 season has ended. Here comes the summer transfer window. In this article, we look at some of the possible transfers that could be made before the closure of the transfer window.
Eden Hazard of Real Madrid has been linked with a loan move to Roma. The Italian club is hoping to bring the Belgian back together with Jose Mourinho, who will take over at Stadio Olimpico this summer. The Blues are expected to re-sign Hazard, but Real Madrid is said to prefer a loan deal, putting Roma in a good position.
2. William - Arsenal
Willian wants to return to Chelsea after a brief spell at Arsenal. The Brazilian has also been linked with MLS side Inter Miami, but joining the Blues would give him a better chance to play on bigger stages. However, with the likes of Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz, and Mason Mount, among others, Thomas Tuchel's attacking options are many, and the 32-year-old could struggle to earn consistent playing time.
3. Olivier Giroud - Chelsea
AC Milan and Olivier Giroud have reached an agreement on a two-year contract. After the Champions League final, the agreement will be finalized. The Frenchman has been shortlisted for playing time at Chelsea and this is the right time for the Frenchman to decide his future after his contract at Chelsea comes to an end.
4. Tielemans - Leicester City
Liverpool is expected to replace Georginio Wijnaldum this summer, and the Belgian midfielder is reportedly being examined. Tielemans was allegedly distraught at the end of Leicester's final encounter of the season, according to the Belgian newspaper. The Foxes have achieved a 'complete agreement' to buy Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare to replace Tielemans.
