Japan 4 Ghana 1: Black Stars humiliated in Japan

The black stars of Ghana have been humiliated by Japan in the ongoing four-nation Kirin Cup tournament in Japan. It is indeed heart breaking so see a team like the Ghana black stars lose to an average Japanese side.

The first half ended 2:1 in favour of the host. Most people thought the Ghanaian side would bounce back strongly in the second half but things got worse. Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Felix Afena Gyan were introduced at halftime to salvage the goal scoring problem but it didn't yield positive results. Japan added two more goals to make it 4:1 at full time. Jordan Ayew's 44th minute strike was the only goal Ghana managed to score from a mistake on the side of the Japanese defenders.

The Kirin cup is a four nation tournament featuring host Japan, Ghana, Chile and Tunisia. Tunisia were also able to beat Chile by 2 goals to nil. It means Tunisia and Japan will meet in the finals while Ghana and Chile will face off to determine who finishes at the bottom.
