Asante Kotoko latest covid test results proves Al Hillal didn't alter the results they had in Sudan.
Kumase Asante Kotoko is all around the news in the last few days. They travelled to Sudan for a CAF champions league game which eventually didn't come on. Covid struck the camp of the club and therefore wasn't able to raise a team to play the game.
Kotoko suspected some foul play from the covid results from the host team Al Hillal. Kotoko returns and did their own test and it turned out Al Hillal has been vindicated after all. Four players tested positive although it is less than the number that tests positive in Sudan, it shows Al Hillal didn't temper with their results.
Kotoko has themselves to be blamed for not being able to play the match. Had they gone to Sudan earlier for like four or five days prior to the match, they could have conducted an early test and could have done something about the players before the game.
