Emmanuel Gyasi on the scoresheet as Spezia draws with Cagliari

The Ghana international scored in his first game of the 2021-22 season, as the Eagles earned a point against Leonardo Semplici's side.

In a Serie A match on Monday, Spezia drew 2-2 with Cagliari, with Ghana international Emmanuel Gyasi scoring.

Before Simone Bastoni extended their lead, the 27-year-old handed his squad a great start. Even yet, the Little Eagles only earned one point at Stadio Alberto Picco.

Spezia arrived to Sardinia unbeaten in their last three games in all competitions, with the goal of earning a positive result against their hosts, who had silenced Pisa 3-1 at the start of the 2021-22 season.

The game finished without a winner, with no goals scored in the last minutes of the match.

Thiago Motta's side had Gyasi and Gambia international Ebrima Colley in action from start to finish.

On August 28, Spezia will face Maurizio Sarri's Lazio at Stadio Olimpico in their next Italian top-flight match.
