The penalty miss left many Ghanaians asking questions but Asamoah Gyan who missed his crucial kick in 2010 FIFA World Cup says he knows the situation Dede Ayew finds himself.

"I don't think it's a curse. These are things that happen in football and as a footballer, you have to deal with it for the rest of your life."
"I have been there before and I know what Andre (Ayew) is going through right now. He might pretend to be strong but deep inside, he will feel the pain."
The Black Stars made their fourth appearance at the World Cup in Qatar but exited at the group stage with just three points from three group games.
