The Lower Manya Krobo Municipality shooting victims received financial support from Ghana and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey. The shooting took place last month.

When a military team was sent to help the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) install prepaid meters in the neighborhood, residents of Lower Manya Krobo got into a fight.

Following the altercation, some of the locals who had been complaining about the military's alleged brutality toward them suffered injuries.

The Lower Manya Krobo shooting victims are supported by Thomas Partey.

In order to help the victims, Partey made the decision to donate an undisclosed sum of money to them in order to cover their basic needs and medical expenses.

The midfielder's team traveled to the Nuaso town to present the donation on his behalf, along with his father Jacob Partey and PRO Samuel Zigah.

We've come to express our sympathy to you on Thomas Partey's behalf today. The Ghana Report cited Zigah as saying, "It's sad to see you in this circumstance.

We want you to know that you are not alone in your situation, so please know that we are hoping for a speedy recovery so you can resume your regular responsibilities.

Partey, the Black Stars' assistant captain, was appointed development chief in Manya Krobo, where he was born and raised, in June.

The Manya Krobo Traditional Area's Konor, Nene Sakite II, presented the title to the 29-year-old.

During a brief ceremony, the midfielder received the honorific "Mahefalor," which means "area defender."

This came after the Thomas Partey Foundation was established to help youth in Odumase Krobo and Ashaiman have access to opportunities.
