Kumase Asante Kotoko can claim the league title this term should they have a consistent winning run at their home ground according to coach Johnson Smith. Baba Yara sports stadium at Kumase wasn't ready when the league commenced and so therefore the club decided to play their home games at the Accra sports stadium.
Somewhere along the league,they decided move to the Tamale Sports stadium which was of course was declined by the Ghana Football Association. Kotoko do struggle to win their home games at the Accra sports stadium.
Aduana Stars , Eleven Wonders and a host of clubs has taken up points from the Porcupine Warriors at the said venue this season. According to interim coach Johnson Smith, a consistent home form could deliver the league title to the men on red.
