How Manchester City Could Line Up Against Tottenham

Manchester City travel to Tottenham on the opening of the Premier League season with Pep Guardiola having plenty of selection dilemmas. He says his selection at Tottenham will be dictated by differing fitness level after only welcoming back his full squad on Thursday.

Manchester City pre season has been disrupted by players coming back late from their summer tournaments, with their English and Brazilian player coming back this week.

Pep Guardiola was already set to be without Phil Foden who is out for a month, while Kevin De Bruyne looks set to miss out despite partially returning to training following his own injury problems.

The manager explained why he isn't expecting a particularly fluid performance from his club due to their fitness levels, but challenged his players would surprise him amid the clash with Tottenham Hostpur.

This is the possible lineup ahead of his opening match.

Predicted Line Up (4-3-3)

Emerson, Canceled, Stones, Dias, Mendy, Rodri, Gundogan, Bernardo, Grealish, Ferran, Mahrez.
