Asante Kotoko Count On Extending Lead With Victory Over Ebusua Dwarfs Tomorrow

After besting Dreams FC 3 - 1 at the Len Clay Stadium last Saturday, Asante Kotoko will intend to add Ebusua Dwarfs to the list, to make it three wins in a row tomorrow.

Following the defeat to Medeama at the same venue, coach Mariano Barreto and his charges bounced back to winning ways against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium, courtesy a lone goal by Augustine Okrah, got back home and kept all honors against Dreams FC. In the game against Dreams FC, Asante Kotoko came from behind to beat the still believe boys. Sagacious Fabio Gama was allowed to work from his comfortable position, provided assist as required of him. His countryman Michael Vinicius inked his name on the score card, gradually living up to expectations that welcomed his arrival. Midfielder Mudasiru Salifu also gave a brilliant display which was met massive laudation. Speedster Emmanuel Gyamfi - who has been on ascendency in recent games - stayed active and relevant in the game, convincing many of why his demands of an enhanced contracted must be met.

In tomorrow’s encounter, coach Mariano Barreto is not expected to make huge changes to the previous starting men. Fabio Gama will be required to rise above the occasion for his colleagues to benefit profusely. Francis Andy Kumi, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Michael Vinicius are to be alert and make every effort count.

Ebusua Dwarfs will appear in the game looking to go back with victory. Their game against Legon Cities ended abruptly, hence, the Cape Coast-based team cannot settle for a lose tomorrow. They are heavily involved in the relegation struggle, and could fall eventually if not cautiously workout. The entire starting list will have to overwork, remain concentrated throughout and rub shoulders with their opponents.

For their title ambitions, Asante Kotoko will attack from all angles to keep three points, and possibly extend their lead, but Dwarfs can only achieve a stay in the Ghana Premier League with a win from this fixture and subsequent games.
