Dan Qauye has blasted the Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew, saying his selfish attitude is not helping the national team.
The Black Stars who are currently competing to win the afcon sit 3rd with just a point after two games played.
In the match against Gabon, Andre Ayew had a counter-attack which he could have easily scored but failed to release the ball to Joseph Paintsil who was in a correct position to score.
Andre after failing to pass the ball has been blasted by a lot of Ghanaians. According to Dan Qauye, who was a member of the Black Stars squad who played in the 2006 Fifa World Cup in Germany believes Andre Ayew's selfish attitude is not helping the team to progress.
He emphasised that the Black Stars captain must be told that the team does not belong to his father.
"What was Andre Ayew thinking when he could have released the ball to Joseph Paintsil for a second goal?" he said this during an interview with Happy FM.
Anyway Ghana will play against Comoros in the final group game on Tuesday, January 18 so let us all pray for the best
