Accra Hearts of Oak to register Central African Republic striker Yassan Ouatching for next season

Ghana FA Cup champions Accra Hearts of Oak are set to register their Central African Republic striker Yassan Ouatching ahead of the 2022/23 football season.

The striker, has been training with the Phobians for sometime now, and, he forms plans of the technical team for next season after being impressed with his output at training.

Ouatching will be an important addition to the Hearts of Oak squad as they struggled for goals in the just ended season.

Their lack of firepower upfront, contributed immensely in seeing them lose the Ghana Premier League, GPL title to their arch rivals Asante Kotoko.

The Phobians also finished outside the top-four as they closed the 2021/22 campaign in sixth position after losing their last four league games.

Ouatching has been scoring goals for fun as he trains with the Phobians, and, he will be expected to translate that to the field in real match situations when next season starts.

Hearts of Oak will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup competition next season after winning the MTN FA Cup final last Sunday against Bechem United in Kumasi.

They will look to do well in the competition after their exploits last season saw them fail to advance to the group stage of the campaign.

The Phobians will also look to win back the GPL title they lost to Asante Kotoko next season and, they will need Ouatching who is a full international with his country, to help them reach that goal.
