Black stars defender, who is currently on loan at Championship side Reading from English giants Chelsea, Baba Abdul Rahman, has presented some sets of sports equipment to Ghana premier league returnees, Real Tamale United (RTU).
He donated 50 balls, 50 cones, 50 bibs, and 48 markers to Real Tamale United as they prepare to kick start the new GPL season.
The donation was done on behalf of the defender by his elder brother, Alhaji Sulemana Baba, and N/R football association chairman, Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo.
Alhaji Sulemana Baba the elder brother of Baba Rahaman said, it has always been the interest of bothering to see the progress of RTU, which is the only traditional club within the region. He further expressed hope that the sporting equipment donated will help the club as they prepare ahead of the league season.
Receiving the equipment on behalf of the club and the playing body, head coach, Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko promised that the donation will serve its purpose.
