The SuperSport United Goal Keeper, Ronwen Williams has made a wild allegations towards the Senegalese Referee that took in charge of the match between Ghana and South Africa. The South African goalkeeper claims he already felt targeted even before the match started, claiming the referee promised to book him even before the match started.
Williams Rowen claims the referee walked towards him inside the tunnel and made a statement of booking him if he tries to delay in the match. The South African captain said he feels that is unprofessional and felt he was even targeted ahead of the match.
“I hope things can be corrected and we get a fair chance because what we achieved as a team in the last three months is amazing,” Williams told the media. “The referee came to me before the game and told me he is going to book me for time-wasting. I already felt targeted. So I went into the game at the back of my mind already feeling I am a target. He said. He also went ahead to claim that the ball boys joined Senegalese referee Maguette Ndiaye to complicate their evening. He claims the ball boys intentionally started delaying the ball for play as it started when Ghana scored.
These are some wild claims by the South African Goalkeeper and he asked for FIFA to do the needful for them.
