The Phobians have gone through hard time trying to win the league title for over a decade but fortunately favor smiled on their faces when Kumasi Asante Kotoko lost their 33rd match in the league to Becham United.
Accra Hearts of Oak have now proven to Ghanaians and football fans around the world that they are not only the Giant and the best in Accra but rather in Ghana.
Hearts of Oak under the leadership of Coach Samuel Boadu have marvelously done what other big clubs in Africa can not even do. They were struggling but things turned around immediately the coach joined the club.
And that helped them to skyrocket to the top and after they defeated Fabulous in Accra they opened the gab to put them ahead of their national rivals. And after Asante Kotoko's defeat to Becham United Hearts of Oak were pronounced the league winners.
But despite Hearts of Oak's defeat to West Africa Football Academy this evening the won the trophy and raised it up high for Ghanaians and Africa to witness their great achievement. They won the league 61 massive points.
