Hearts of Oak has tried every possible means to get the best players on the field to justify what they get in the league making sure that, they succeed in winning the long term trophy for the club. They Techiman club started the league as favorite but financial difficulties has taken them off the title race and currently battling out of relegation. Despite interest from other Ghana Premier League clubs, the Midfielder decided to join Hearts of Oak after weeks of negotiations.

He becomes Accra Hearts of Oak’s first signing in the second transfer window as they continue to strengthen their squad. The 20-year old is one of the top performing Midfielders in the ongoing Ghana Premier League and earned a call up to C.K Akonnor’s latest Black Stars call up for the AFCON Qualifiers. Ghana Premier League powerhouse Accra Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Ibrahim Salifu from Techiman Eleven Wonders after a fruitful negotiations. The Capital based club reached an agreement with Eleven Wonders to acquire the Black Stars invitee on a transfer fee of Gh¢ 100,000 earlier today. The 20-year-old has officially penned a three-and-half year deal with the one-time CAF Champions League winners which keeps him until 2025. Salifu has been a top performer for Eleven Wonders in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season where he has clinched four man of the match awards. Also, Amankwah joined the Phobians on a two-and-half year deal after successful negotiations.

The supporters of the Hearts of Oak team are now pleased because their investment is paying of looking at Salifu and Amankwah, they have started enjoying their long stay in the club making sure that they get the best from the club and the club also receives them well. The two players are all starters in their previous teams and will continue to be, but coach Samuel Boadu has taken his time to introduce them gradually to gel with the existing players. Amankwah who was the free player didn't even sit home for a month before getting signed by the club straight from his Europe trials and Salifu the consistent influencer of his team was also playing actively. “Accra Hearts of Oak also reached an agreement with highly rated Defender, Caleb Amankwah for two and half years," post on Hearts of Oak’s Twitter page. “Caleb has previously had stints with West African Football Academy and Aduana Stars Football Club." “Dependable defender, Caleb Amankwah. Welcome!!! Hearts is home. Enjoy your stay,” Hearts of Oak said in a post on Twitter. Caleb has previously had stints with West African Football Academy where he has his basic knowledge of the game and later moved to Aduana Stars Football Club in Dormaa. The tall and high-quality defender was linked with a move to Heart’s rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC but the deal never materialized.

The Rainbow Club are strengthening their team for the second round of the Ghana Premier League season and are hoping to end their long wait for a trophy by signing tried and tested players to beef up their squad.
