On the 24th of November, 2021, right after the match between Liverpool and FC Porto at the Anfield Stadium in England, an African sports journalist told Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp that he should apologize to Africans for looking down upon them and their continental Football tournament.
After Liverpool has successfully won their 5th champions league group stages match against FC Porto, a press conference was organized for Klopp to address some issues and questioning.
In the process, A Journalist who revealed his name as Ojora Babatunde who works with Ojbsports asked Klopp to give an apology to Africans, the players, and the fans because his comment about AFCON being a little tournament is very insulting to all these people.
The sports Journalists went furthur to say that, there is no way Jurgen Klopp will refer Europe as little so he needs to apologize to Africans.
Jurgen Klopp was little a bit amazed, he replied that, he never meant to look down upon Africans and the AFCON tournament. What he said was taking out of context.
