Two enemies of Kotoko, who will you support? Accra Hearts of Oak or WAC of Morocco

It was a total ‘cemeterous’ scene in Kumasi when Kumasi Asante Kotoko lost out to Wydad Athletic Club by the away goal rule.

Kotoko lost narrowly to WAC at Morocco when they conceded a goal by Madihi. The return encounter was thought to be an easy duel when the Ghanaian club was to host the Moroccans.

The day which remains forever memorable in my life was that day when Kotoko beat WAC 2-1 but eventually lost out on the cup.

I had gone to a Deeper Life Camp meeting hosted by Dr. Kumuyi at Brofoyedu in Kumasi. The program ended the very day Kotoko took on WAC.

The atmosphere was dark although it was clear in the sky. Upon our arrival, we heard the bad news. What a sorrowful day it was.

Kotoko won the day but WAC won the cup. This has remained in the thought of people like us.

With the rivalry between Kotoko and Hearts, the least talked about the better. The rivalry between these clubs is well known and needs no introduction.

Is it time for revenge, hatred or patriotism? Are you for WAC or Accra Hearts of Oak, or you have decided to be neutral.

The higher a Ghanaian club soar in such continental games the higher our coefficient.

Let us rally behind our brothers to go far in this year’s CAF Champions League.

Hearts of Oak’s win is Ghana’s.
