Once Hearts of Oak fan who played for WAFA signed for Anderlecht in the Belgium League

The former WAFA SC player who ply his trait at RedBulls Salzburg, straight from the academy at Sogakope. The player needs to be checked and encouraged to participate in the Blackstars line up. It is not bad as a team to call up a player who started from Ghana and making it big outside the country.

Majeed Ashimeru, the player from Res Bull Salzburg has now played for as many as five teams recently. He has enjoyed some days with FC St. Galen, Wolfsberger AC, Red Bull Salzburg, SC Austria Lustenau and now with R.S.C Anderlecht. Ashimeru‘s performance has catch the eyes of the Belgium side and want to extend his contract to buy him outrightly.

The Ghanaian international is going to receive €2.50milion, which makes him eligible to play for Anderlecht and move from Salzburg. The player is a Champions league competing player who announced his presence in their match between Salzburg and Liverpool. But lost woefully by 2-0.

Ashimeru was once interviewed and he showed interest in joining Hearts of Oak. He said that, when he gets that opportunity to deliver, he will do very well for the team which has been his long term target from infancy. It was his boyhood days when he started developing some love for Hearts of Oak and wish to make an impact for the Phobians. If he is called upon.
