Two star players set to leave Kotoko

Information reaching out from Kotoko indicates that some key players are set to leave the club before the start of the 2020/2021 season.

Asante Kotoko's left back, Patrick Yeboah has terminated his contract with the club. He handed in his request following the signing of Patrick Asmah (another left back) by the club. Patrick Yeboah confirmed this in an interview, stating that he need to ply his trade elsewhere. " I am a professional player and as such i wont play Kotoko forever", Yeboah continued. Yeboah is set to leave the country very soon.

In anothet development, Maxwell Baako contract will expire at the end of October. The management is still in talks with the player and his agent. However, reports indicate that, Maxwell has signed a pre-contract arrangement with a Saudi Arabian club hence, Maxwell is likely to leave Kotoko before the start of the incoming season .

Maxwell was included in the squard that are camping in Koforidua currently. It appears , he is key and in the plans of Maxwell Konadu, thr coach of Asante Kotoko. However, Patrick Yeboah was left out of the team and is still in Kumasi.
