It is believed that thiago has agreed on personal terms with liverpool but Manchester United are not giving up on him. They are trying their possible best to get the player from Bayern because of his qualities in midfield. Barcelona are also interested in signing the player but liverpool is ahead in the race for the player
Gary Neville on Thiago: "I don’t know why [Manchester] United wouldn’t try and get him, particularly if he was going to Liverpool because it would strengthen them.If [Thiago] was there [in Manchester United's midfield], I think he’s clever enough to intercept, read the game and do the things that a holding midfielder can.
Gary Neville on Thiago: “I think he can play deeper and [Manchester] United’s players in that position — Fred, [Scott] McTominay, [Nemanja] Matic — have all done okay." [Manchester] United weren’t really strongly linked with him and I can see why with Pogba and Fernandes. But watching him play in a two-man midfield for Bayern Munich, I don’t think he needs to play in a forward role.” #mufc #mujournal [@90min_Football]
