The Ghana Football Association is planning on naming a new coach to replace the departed German trainer, Otto Addo.
The Black Stars under Otto Addo managed to go past their arch rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria over two legs.

The first leg ended goalless at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi before the second leg produced a 1-1 score line at fhe MKO Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The Black Stars qualified via the away goal rule courtesy Thomas Partey’s equalizer and Ghana made its fourth appearance in Qatar.
Otto Addo guided the side that exited the tournament at the group stage after just one win and two losses in a group that had Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
Two losses against Portugal and Uruguay with a second game win over South Korea saw just a three points collection under Otto Addo.
Otto Addo has since returned to Germany after the expiration of his six months contract and the Ghana FA is preparing to give the job to technical advisor of the Black Stars and former Newcastle United manager, Chris Hughton according multiple reports.
