The first leg in Ghana ended in a goalless draw in the midst of some reported juju incidents. We knew it was always going to be tough for the miners when they travelled to Burkina.
They were trailing by two goals to nil by the 44th but the deficit was cut short by David Abgna. They had a full half to equalise but they failed to do so. I think fatigue settled in as they had to stay still in a bus for about 14 hours en route to Burkina faso.
Players needs the strength in such matches and travelling by bus in who knows the kind of condition of the road they travelled on wasn't the best for the Ghanaian club. The players were probably tired and exhausted even before the match began.
They have to turn their attention now to the Ghana premier league as they are yet to win a game.
