Accra Hearts Of Oak's NCC Sends A Strong Message To The Board And Management Of The Club

The National chapters committee (NCC) of the oldest football club in Ghana, Accra hearts of oak, has sent a strong message to the board and management of the club in a press briefing and a mini demonstration organized at the headquarters of the club this morning.

In a response to the club's recent woes and crises, members of the national chapters committee marched to the headquarters of the club in red and black paraphernalia to express their dissatisfaction and disappointment over the running of the club and the recent mass resignations of vital team officials.

Addressing the media the NCC of the club has called for the immediate reconstitution of the club's board of directors to make accommodation for stakeholders, they also employed the management to hold an emergency meeting with the majority shareholders for brief on the current state and happenings in the club and also to hold the annual general meeting of the club which has not been held for years now.

Further, the NCC demands an immediate consensus stakeholder meeting between minority and majority shareholders on one hand and other key organs of the club to foster unity and also demands an immediate appointment of a chief executive officer and a local team coach which must be done in consultation with all stakeholders to energise the support base of the club.

As part of the mini demonstration, the NCC have locked the club's secretariat and will not allow any staff access to the premises until 2pm.

We supporters are the owners of the club so management and board should not make any attempt to fight back, he boldly said.
