REPORTS: Manchester United Midfielder agrees £13 million exit

According to reputable transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Andreas Pereira has decided to quit Erik Ten Hag's United and sign with newly promoted Fulham.

The Cottagers and the Brazilian international have agreed to a three-year contract.

The Manchester-based company will get £10 million plus a $3 million incentive. The original pricing is reasonable value even if the additional add-ons don't materialize.

£13 million would have exceeded United's expectations for Pereira, who United was unable to secure a contract for last summer.

The midfielder played 52 games and scored 8 goals while on loan with Flamengo for the entire season.

The Brazilian team could not afford to exercise the £8.5 million buyout option in his contract, despite the fact that he wanted to remain with them.

This most recent development is unexpected because, before Fulham intervened, it appeared that the Manchester-based team could have to be content with selling him for only about $5 million.

There is only one year left on Pereira's current contract. Preseason visits to United were always a red herring. He has been gone for a very long time from the 20-time English Champions.

The highly regarded midfielder, who is 26 years old, needs a new beginning because, despite the fact that his time at the Stadium of Dreams didn't go well, it wasn't for want of effort.
