Razak Abalora has been the number one goalie for his club and the national team, for some couple of months now. He has been on a pretty fine since joining the club. He has been the number one goalie for the club and country but he has undergone series of criticism from pundits and fans in recent months.
He has been the number one goalie for the Black Stars since the absence of Richard Ofori who has been sidelined for some couple of months now. He was criticized once again in the friendly match he featured for the Black Stars against Morocco on Tuesday.
In view of this, head coach of the Ghana national team, C.K. Annor has urged all fans and stakeholders of the national team to be behind him in times like this in order to brim his confidence in the goal post. These were his words “He has made a mistake, he knows himself but we are not in the position to kill him. We need each and everyone to be at a good level.
He further added that we should encourage him to improve because that’s the only way he can come back to his best, he added “Yes, we have to move on, we have to encourage him. He is a good goalkeeper. No doubt about that. We will not kill him; we will encourage him on how to improve."
