Year in review: Failed Prophesies In 2020

Ghana has over the years seen people and pastors who are 'well endowed' in the spiritual realm predicting events of the future. Some prophets and other people in the course of the year have given out numerous prophesies with some coming to pass whilst others too 'jumped over the wall'.

When it comes to believing in spiritual matters, Ghanaians have proven to be one of the best. Many of the prophecies fails to come to pass but that is a big deal for them.

Ghana boost of being a Christian country and therefore it has been blessed with numerous prophets and pastors. The year 2020 saw prophets and other people doing what they mostly do although most of the prophecies failed to see the light of reality.

Here is the list of prophesies which failed to come to pass in the year 2020:

1. Founder and Leader of the Prophetic Church, Prophet Nigel Gaisie predicted a one touch victory for NDC's John Mahama in the just ended elections with 52.1 percent of the total valid votes cast.

He stated categorically that Mahama will win the presidential election and even reiterated that on the 4th December that Mahama will be the winner.

2. The founder of the Glorious Wave Church International Prophet Badu Kobi is also one of the few people who predicted a win for Mahama. He also stated emphatically that Mahama's win has been confirmed and it is therefore unchangeable.

He said on 29th November that John Dramani Mahama will amass 52.3 percent or more of the valid votes cast but Mahama after the 7th December polls amassed 47.3 percent of the total valid votes cast.

3. The same Prophet Badu Kobi also predicted a 'big victory' for Accra based club Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League. But the league was then suspended because of Coronavirus.

As at the time of the suspension, hearts were 10th on the league log with five wins, six draws, three loses and a total of 21 point.

4. Owusu Bempah predicted Coronavirus will not last for two months but here we are still fighting the pandemic.

5. The same Prophet predicted a win for Donald Trump in the US elections as he said God is not a fan of Joe Biden but Joe Biden carried the day after the elections.

Dear reader, do you think these prophesies really came from God and should we believe in those prophets?
