Fans have slammed Real Madrid after Gareth Bale was given an odd shirt number in a friendly match.
Bale wore 50 jersey as his 11 jersey number was in the possession of Marco Asensio.
Bale has returned to Real Madrid after spending last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.
And, as a transfer lifeline ahead of the new season, Carlo Ancelotti gave the Welshman a start against Milan.
The 32-year-old wore the number 50 shirt, despite the fact that his number 11 shirt is now owned by Marco Asensio.
Bale's new shirt number was not well received by fans, who slammed the club for their treatment of the star forward.
"Bale is wearing 50???" said one Twitter user.
"Why is Bale number 50 for Madrid lmao," another wrote.
"Seems pretty cheeky for bale to be given the 50 jersey" said a third twitter user.
