Manchester United Supporters should be happy about this great news

Marcus Rashford has been spotted working on the turf at Carrington, which is great news for Manchester United supporters!

Last season, our no.10 scored 21 goals in all competitions, narrowly missing out on the 22 he scored in 2019/20, and he would have been eager to match that total this season, especially with England teammate Jadon Sancho joining our attacking ranks.

Marcus, on the other hand, had shoulder surgery earlier this summer and will miss the first few games of the 2021/22 season.

According to Rashford, who shared the news on social media a fortnight ago, the operation on the long-standing ailment went smoothly.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said over the weekend that the Academy graduate had restarted some physical work in preparation for a possible return soon.

The supervisor stated, "He appeared really pleased with the procedure."

“He's at the gym,” says the narrator. We see him every day, so when the time comes for him to return, he'll be chomping at the bit.”

Marcus can also be seen shaking hands and having a serious conversation with the boss in the first 10 seconds of our clip of Wednesday's training.

He then does some ball work before doing some running drills with the instructors.

While Rashford's return is still a long way off, it's nice to see the England international back in action.

Marcus, we're excited to see you again - Keep working on your rehabilitation in the meantime!
