Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Propser Ogum Nartey, has lavished praise on the Chief Executive Officer of his side, Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Speaking on their team's triumph on the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League, Ogum emphasized the intellectual administrative role performed by him which became the bedrock success of the team’s premier league glory after 8 seasons. “He takes his time to engage you as a coach with respect to what you have to do. He also believes in reasons, why we must do it this way and not that way.I think it has really helped, he's a distinguished gentleman”, he noted. Ogum, also acknowledged the future plans from their seasoned CEO in relation to other clubs across Africa.
“He knows his job as a CEO. He's well abreast with the modern trends in the game.
I mean how to project a team like kotoko to be compared to the likes of Al Ahly, Zamalek, and what have you.
That is his intention and that is exactly what he's doing”.
