A juvenile club has been involved in a serious motor accident while they were traveling for a game.
The unfortunate and Sad Incident happened to the club called Manso Soccer Babies when due to the financial crises had to travel by the usual tricycle popularly known in Ghana as ‘Aboboyaa.’
According to reports, that means of transportation has been a usual routine for Manso Soccer Babies, and had to face a tragedy today while on their way.
The majority of the young players who were involved in the clash have been seriously injured with one having a cut in his head.
It is the second time within a year that the country has been hit with such disturbing news after six under 15 players were killed in a car crash in the Ashanti Region of Ghana last September.
It about time the football association takes a critical look at the wellbeing and the safety of these juvenile clubs.
