Accra Hearts of Oak have defeated AshantiGold 8 - 7 on penalties to win 2020/21 FA Cup and double. The winner had to be decided via penalty kick after a goalless draw in regulation and extra time.
Fatawu Mohammed, Emmanuel Nettey and Robert Addo Sowah, Mohammed Alhassan, Victor Aidoo, Raddy Ovouka and Salifu Ibrahim scored for Accra Hearts of Oak whiles Empem Dacosta, Owusu Banahene Frank Akoto and Yaw Annor, Osei Agyemang scored for AshantiGold.
Few minutes into the game, Patrick Razak has the clear opportunity for Accra Hearts of Oak but Kofi Mensah came to the rescue of AshantiGold.

Yaw Annor once again located Amos Addai at the edge of the box but was denied glory by Mohammed Alhassan.
Raddy Ovouka had a quick ball for his side only for goalkeeper Koif Mensah took charge of it.
AshantiGold came close to goal through Amos Addai but Mohammed Alhassan stayed back to foil the attack.
As the game was approaching final minutes, Accra Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold stepped up efforts to grab a winning goal, but chances created were left off the hook, whiles goalkeepers of both sides had their part to play in preventing balls from snaking into the net.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh had the last bite of the game to make a difference but he missed the target, ending the entire proceedings goalless.
The game was thrown into extra time, but the first half witnessed some chances which were given away by Victor Aidoo and Salifu Ibrahim. The second half failed to record a goal as regulation and extra time ended 0 - 0.
