Black Stars defender, Seidu Alidu has expressed joy at featuring in his first ever FIFA World Cup.
The Clermont Foot utility star was a member of the Black Stars squad that exited the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the group stage in Qatar.

He made his World Cup debut in the Black Stars 3-2 opening loss against Portugal at fhe 974 Stadium.
He was an unused substitute in Ghana’s 3-2 win over South Korea before starting in the 2-0 third game defeat to Uruguay.
“I want to give glory to Allah for allowing me to represent the colors of Ghana, one of the greatest Gift football has given me.Sad the goal was not achieved but alhamdulillah. Thanks to everyone who supported me and the team 🇬🇭 #QatarWorldCup2022.” Seidu Alidu tweeted.
The Black Stars has failed to go past the group stage at their last two World Cup appearances in Brazil 2014 and Qatar 2022.
Ghana exited the 2021 AFCON at the group stage in a group that had Morocco, Gabon and Comoros.
