Egyptian club Pyramids new coach blocks John Antwi's departure

Egyptian club Pyramids FC's new head coach Ehab Galal has told the club not to let forward John Antwi leave.

The former Sekondi Eleven Wise player is one of the most prolific attackers in Egyptian football in recent years, with impressive statistics in Ismaili, Al Ahli, El Makassar and the Pyramids.

Antwe scored 77 goals in the Egyptian Premier League, ranking first among foreign scorers; however, he has struggled on the pyramid this season because he has not scored a goal in 16 league games.

After tired of his situation in Pyramids, Antwi is reportedly approaching the club exit, and Alexander’s Ittihad is his next goal.

and the pyramids are actually ready to give up the forward they signed in 2019 for $1.5 million. However,

Galal, who was appointed after Tarkis Gonias was sacked last Saturday, believes that Antwe will regain his status, so he has instructed the club to keep him next season.

Antwerp is a five-year contract with the Pyramid team, and each season's income is 600,000 US dollars.
