The long serving player from Real Tamale United who joined Hearts of Oak some good seasons ago, has set his foot in the game as the best for the team. He has completely won the heart of the Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu.
The right back is totally a Blackstars player and needs the required coach to fix him in the right time. He is 31 years old with his daring crosses to the eighteen and sixteen yard box. The defender has done the most assist in the game than any other defender in the league this season.
Fatawu Mohammed just received a plaque from his colleague Isaac Mensah Messi from Petro Luanda. The player has done very well for Hearts of Oak but it has come to bare this season with a lot of trust from coach Samuel Boadu.
Fatawu has 7 assist to his credit but has no goal to his name. He is the player who have assisted the most for more goals in the Hearts of Oak side. Not even the midfielders or attackers has this number of stats to their credit but a right back has done it.
The club needs to do things right by honouring the long served and completely influencial players in the team (Hearts). It will be best for the board to recognise the effort of this players by taking the job as their property and serving with courtesy and pride.
Farawu is comfortably leading the team to win this season’s Ghana Premier League title, probably a double can be possible for a decade drought.
