
Former Black Stars coach C.K. Akonnor is reportedly heading to the newly promoted premier league side Nsoatreman FC. The former coach of Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC will be unveiled on Wednesday if all discussions have been concluded. According to reports, he will be assisted by Ayipah Boniface who qualified the team to the premier league with Kobina Amissah maintaining his role as the technical director.
Nsoatreman defeated Tamale City in the playoffs by 2 goals to 1. This is their debut season in the Ghana Premier League in the history of the club. They will be hoping to give a very good account of themselves. The signing of Akonnor is a statement of intent. They will also be hoping to add a few quality additions to their playing body.
They will be joined by Samartex FC and Kotoku Royals in the premier league next season. All the 3 clubs will be making their debut in the Ghana Premier League.
