Accra Hearts of Oak are the current league leaders of the Ghana Premier League. They have amassed 50 points from 28 games. They share the same points with their arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko, but they top the league table on goal difference.
The Phobians have undergone a thorough resurgence in their performance since the commencement of the second round of the competition. They are now tipped as the favourites to win the league this season.
They have managed to record number of clean sheets and have been able to bag more goals in the process.
They have received a big boost as one of their midfield dynamo, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen returns back to the training ground. The midfielder recorded a ground foot injury since February and has been sidelined since then.
Hearts welcome Medeama SC at the Accra Sports stadium this weekend and it is believed the 22 year might feature. Nurudeen has only featured for the rainbow boys seven times this season and he is looking forward to play more matches to add to his tallies.
